Week 1

Week 3
Kia ora! G’day! Selamat! Guten Morgen! Hola! Welcome to the beautiful country of your choice. Before you leave the airport and go to your hotel, you will want to learn how to say hello in the language of your country. Look at the basic phrases below that you may need when you are travelling around the Italy.
Good Morning=Buongiorno.
Good bye =arrivederci.
How much does this cost? = quanto costa.
When is the next bus? =Quando passa il prossimo autobus.
Where is the nearest hospital? =Dove si trova l'ospedale più vicino.
Week 4
Sports are often very different in other countries; today you will be researching the main sporting activities in your chosen country.
- Basketball, Volleyball, and Cycling are the next most popular/played sports, with Italy having a rich tradition in all three. Italy also has strong traditions in Swimming, Water polo, rugby union, tennis, athletics, fencing and Formula One.
Week 5
Today is a very special day in the country! It’s a major national holiday and everyone is celebrating!
